Okay, so, today I finally upgraded my pc. I added 16GB of ddr4 ram, and installed a new cpu cooler.

Now when I turn my pc on, it boots into the bios and won’t go into windows. When i try to open the boot menu you it says, “no bootable devices found.”

Before these upgrades, my pc worked 100% fine.

It seems weird that my ssd (Samsung 860 Evo 1tb) would be affected after cleaning and reseating my CPU (3600x)

Here are my current troubleshooting steps.
  • Take out new ram, and reboot with my original 16gb (Failed)
  • Try SSD in a different Sata slot. (Failed)

Note: The SSD shows up in the bios as a storage device, but not as a bootable one ?

This guide should tell you all the steps you need to do. If you're going to install Windows 11, then download the Windows 11 ISO instead of the Windows 10 ISO where the guide says you to.

You'll be able to boot from the USB media that you've created by following the guide. All you have to do is select the USB from the USB boot menu (once you've followed the guide and made the bootable USB) and then you'll be presented with the Windows 10/11 setup. From there, you can reinstall windows by formatting the existing drive. (previous data and other will be erased from the drive)

After the installation has completed, you can boot into your new Windows install.
