I have a hp compaq elite 8300 sff. Being specific specs are as follows:
  1. Intel I5 2400S
  2. GT 710 2GB
  3. 4 GB RAM(Thinkin of upgrading to 8 GB)
4.1 TB HDD
Everything else is generic.
So whenever i play games specifically valorant my computer restarts after some hours. Sometimes after 1 hour sometimed aftet 5 hours and sometimes even after 10 min. My pc also gets a random restart during normal session sometimes. I am going to check my cpu temperature and should i change the thermal paste as it has been not changed after buying it. I checked the ram. It is fine. Also there is one more problem when i add a 2GB ram stick the pc does not boot up. But i think that's a problem with the ram stick. That's all about my computer. Can anyone tell what's happening with my computer.

Solution
If CPU/GPU temperatures look good in HWInfo, changing thermal paste won't change anything.

If this computer is still running on the original PSU, random restarts could very well be caused by the ~10 years old PSU nearing the end of its life.

Ok thanks but how should i resolve it as in this case i think a new psu is just impossible to add. So how can i resolve this problem?
