My monitor keeps freezing, and my speakers will make a loud, buzzing noise. The fans on my PC keep running though.
It usually happens while gaming (though not on Valorant), but not necessarily. It can happen when I’m watching youtube or on Discord calls, when I’m downloading something etc.

Im on Windows 10, and I’m pretty sure I’m up to date with all of my drivers.

My specs :

GPU : Nvidia RTX 2060
CPU : i7-12700k
Motherboard : MSI Pro Z690-A WIFI DDR4
RAM : 32GB
PSU : Corsair RM850

I use an AIO cooler for my CPU, i dont remember the name of the brand though, but it was pretty well-known and legit

I have Core Temp constantly open to keep an eye on my CPU temps, and it looks fine, at maximum 30Cwhile idle, maximum 50C when downloading, discord call and youtube.
It’s been like this for a while now, and I’ve tried looking for answers by looking at similar situations on forums but nothing seems to do the trick, I’d really love if you guys could help me out

what software are you using for monitoring.

what have you used to stress test it ?

did you ever overclock any components?. e.g ram ?

case?.

downloading and discord and youtube wouldnt do barely anything to gpu more your internet would be playing havoc.

if its freezing while gaming then thats a good indicator when its under load that the pc is unstable.

valorant isnt really that intensive.

several factors
1. wifi
2. unstable pc ( overheating while gaming)
3. bad overclock.

try running hw monitor ( open first and leave open on desktop)
then run a game.
( nothing else no discord etc)

play for 15 minutes to a hour.

then close game check hw monitor that you left open and see what the temps are.

anything thats hitting 90 is to hot.

cpu temp on that chips should land between 80-85
gpu max temp is 80-85c.

If your PC is doing this you should try updating GPU drivers, monitoring temperatures for overheating, verifying the power supply, testing RAM stability, disabling overclocking, Checking for resource-intensive background processes, and Scanning for malware, If this is the information that I have provided you works, please let me know.
