My PC SMPS power cable got fire...HELP

I am using my pc continue last 6hour. my pc working normally but sometime i smell it fire smoke and i ignore it last two days.it is my big mistake after few days my smps power cable got fire. pc shutdown and restart for 2 sec and again shutdown to off.so i scared and i off the plug switches on my pc and i few minutes agi start my computer it's doesn't start it.
Then i check my psu power cable is got fire and very bad smoke smell.the power cable is too hot when i touch it.
I am confused what is the problem?

1.faulty my psu power cable.
2.faulty my home power connection.to load very high power.
3.faulty my psu it's 15month's old psu. I know my psu is very old 500w psu. It's useful or not? It's consume extra voltage to damage self defense.
4.last it's bad way to use 6 to 7 hour continue using pc. Any psu particularly fixed hour to use it.can i use my pc over 6hour. 6 to 7 hour using pc with psu it's dangerous or not?
PLEASE anyone HELP!!! ME

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs inclusive of your OS. Now, have you made sure your IEC connector and the 3/2 prong plug to the wall socket is the only thing that is damaged and the cables inside the PSU aren't damaged as well?

You may need to restructure your post and perhaps include some images about the damage for us to understand it a little more clearly.

I am to assume you are from India. If you do not have much technical knowledge, go to a local computer repair market. Get the complete system check. The repair always have some psu they use as testing purposes. First check if the pc turns on with any other PSU. If yes, then the problem is only limited to PSU. Which you can then get repaired or replace. Always use a stablizer. ALWAYS. Area like ours ( I am from Pakistan) cannot rely on our power companies.

Intel core i3 4160 3.60GHz
AMD Radeon RX 470 4gb GDDR5 graphic card
Maxpro MSPS-PS500 power supply 500Watts

1st please answer properly 6 to 7 hour using pc is harmfull or not?
My psu get damage so what type of psu is best for using on my system space.how to carefully use it please any tips..

No, 6-7 hours is absolutely fine. even 20 hours is fine. office hours are 8-10 hours, how come their PCs dont get faulty.

just go and get it checked. if its only the PSU, u can easily get a good 500 watt psu in INR5000-7000

And how to use it carefully...
This problem is not again to face me for next time so how can i use perfectly? Any software to check temperature?
What is the main issue for this problem to solve it?
I need help please...
