Hello
I have weired problem :
1-Power-on Case button takes a long time to start
2-My PC sometimes power on and sometimes not "the motherboard lights up but fans don't spinning everything is silence" so I keep trying pressing until it work 🙁
..But what get me crazy is when the computer work it could stand for days like a rock with no problem
My PC less than year (Intel I7 -Cooler master 700w PSU)

Test
1- I tested another PSU and its give me the same results late untill start up

Solution

Trying to remove/add it, is not the same as replace with a new one.
If still no good then its PSU or MB.

you mean the both problem related to one of those?
but if there's a problem with PSU and Motherboard "how do you explain the PC doesn't restart!!" beside I tested another PSU as told before. but will remove the battery to see
and btw my hard infected by bad sector and almost died don't know if it related to the same prob.

Its a matter of elimination. If system refuses to POST (Power on Self Test) and no access to Bios then it is either failing CMOS battery, Lack of power to MB or connecting cables. If still no go then usually its the MB itself. If successful POST then Bios hands over to OS and could fail at that point if HDD is faulty.
Could be related to your HDD. Do a CHKDSK in command prompt to check. This will check the entire disk surface for bad sectors. Backup any important personal files, just in case, then if errors found, do CHKDSK /f /r to fix or repair. This will schedule on next boot to fix or repair any bad sectors. It can take time to complete.

I did remove the CMOS battery but the same problem still
I brought new hard disk my old one can't read most of times and his condition been too worse in no time can't even transfer enough files. now it doesn't read anymore I'm shocked

I've something in mind will test my PSU on Another PC if it works fast then it'll bee fine right?

Update2: I tried my hard on another PC now and it get recognized from the first time worked good for while then started to hear bad sector's voice. the HD stopped after the temp raise I barley transferred folder

update3: I tested my PSU on Another PC and it works very fine. I can't believe does my ASUS Pro Gamer B85 the main reason for the problems!!! or Did the Case might cause that?

Did you run CHKDSK to check your HDD.? Is the disk full.? Have you de-fraged the disk.?
You will need at least 10% of free space to defrag properly. Use CCleaner to get rid of junk and Auslogics to defrag.

If all cables and connections to MB are OK and PSU is OK then you may have to benchtest the system outside the case as a last resort. If still no go then, I think your MB is the cause.
When you remove the MB, check for bent pins in the CPU socket using a magnifier.

the HDD barely work for little time and I setup it up as second HDD in the meantime but before that condition been worse I do used HDD Regenerator and did checked with another software PC and it didn't complete the full scan always stuck or freeze or get problem.
.Yes the disk is full but I formatted only drive C 2-No de-fraged
* I'm not expert how could I power the MB without the case start button?
* but do you think if it was any problem with MB or CPU pins would even start?
#something I missed to mention sometimes when the PC don't power on I try to remove/add the most of cables and it work when I get lucky

update4: I noticed two times this condition "when I click shutdown form Win 10 with my new HDD" the montior powered off but the whole case not "CPU and all fans spinning and ligths on" this happened only two times for now

No indication that CHKDSK has been done or results, and the drive is full and fragmented.? This is a problem.
Are you now using another drive to Boot from.?
Check the connection to 2pin PWR_SW on MB. You have no separated Power switch on the MB so you would have to use the case switch or buy one for benchtesting.
Probably best to take your system to a computer tech store for proper analysis. Requires expertise and yes the system can start even with bent pins. Problems always ensue.

Is CHKDSK that important? Yes I'm using another drive
do you have a pic for 2pin PWR_SW I can't recognize it

Yes chkdsk is important, if you wish to save your disk and to repair the problem. So is defrag.

Here is location of 2pin PWR_SW.

I can't thank you enough Sir for being here helping me
I made check and removed/plugged the button but i think it is in the right place. but I got you 7 screenshots for my MB and 2-Pin this might give you better chance to diagnostic
http://pho.to/AJokI just scroll down to see all of them

btw my old HD after I removed some GB files it gave a better performance I copied a lot of files today

There is such a build up of dust in your system heythem500, I'm surprised it runs at all.
It would be impossible to correctly diagnose with any accuracy any issue that may arise and I recommend you strip down your system and give it a good clean. It is so contaminated that i'm sure your system would be overheating at times. Without doing this, you will be constantly coming back here with issues and more than lightly end up having to build a new system.

Here is a good guide for that: http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-clean-a-motherboard/
And here: http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-clean-a-computer/

And regarding your HDD, As I said before, getting rid of a large number of unnecessary files to free up your disk would help and already an improvement. Now you need to defrag the disk using Auslogics.

I removed start connector cable "case" and test the power with screwdriver and it worked fast and very good
is that mean there's a problem with only this cable can i fix this?
