What's happening exactly. It's booting to Windows?
Is there something wrong with your power button itself? Have you checked the power switch is wired up correctly to the motherboard?Hi,
My PC turns on as soon as I switch on my PSU even though I have yet to press power on button.
I don't necessarily mind it, but will there be any problem in the long run?
Thank You!
Disconnect the powerswitch from the headers on the motherboard.Yeah, it fully boots to Window.
At first I thought it was because of PSU since my old one was pretty poor quality, but even after switching to a new PSU it still does the same thing. Not sure if this is good or bad.
Mhm, it shouldn't be since the original OEM PSU won't auto boot when turned on.Is there something wrong with your power button itself? Have you checked the power switch is wired up correctly to the motherboard?

What's the brand and model of the case, motherboard and PSU?
Step 1: Start you PC and keep pressing Del button or F10, F2, F12, F1 continuously till blue screen appears that is you have enter into BIOS settings.
Step 2: Press Right direction key on keyboard and go to Power settings .
Step 3: Search for and go to Restore on AC Power Loss . Use direction key to navigate.
Step 4: Then after going to the restore on AC power loss you will see that in front of that [Power ON] is selected. You just need to press the right direction key and select it to [Power Off]
Step 5: Press F10 to save and press enter to save the configuration. Your problem will definitely be Solved.
OK. Dell 7020 is proprietary crap with 12vO PSU. Do you have the correct 24p to 8p adapter?
With transformer for 12vSB to 5vSB.But not quite sure what you mean by correct adapter?
