**fair warning I am somewhat of a noob when it comes to PC issues"

My computer will not connect to any monitor TV or any other display of the sort, that all I get is black screens saying "no signal detected" with a VGA, DVI and HDMI. I mistakenly believed that the problem was my CPU so I thought it would solve the problem if I bought a new Mobo and CPU (the new parts were originally bought so I could up my specs for gaming >.>) however this did not fix the problem. I did some manual "troubleshooting" and found out a faulty cable (DVI, HDMI etc.) is not the problem as they were able to work with another PC the sole problem is my PC I do not believe it is the CPU since it is a brand new one, I doubt it is my power supply since it had worked with my previous build until recently, it is possible that it may be my GPU (will test it later). If there is anything I have missed or anyway to fix my problem plz respond.

Edit: I forgot to add that I had tried the monitor with a different PC and it connected fine so a faulty monitor is definitely not the issue.

Edit 2: So apparently it is not my Graphics Card as my Mobo DVI connection does not work either could it possibly be my power supply?

Is this a newly build computer?

Are you using a motherboard with onboard video or are you using a graphics card?

Do you see the post screen?

If you motherboard have onboard video, connect to you're monitor via that connection first and see if you can view the POST.

WELCOME TO PC TROUBLESHOOTING! I can tell you wanted an excuse to upgrade so congratulations!!! When you fix it you'll have an upgraded machine 😀 The 2 primary suspects are your monitor and video card. Try a different monitor if you have one sitting around that you know works - if that isn't the issue, then try another video card to see if that's the issue. How in the world did you upgrade your mobo/CPU with no monitor? Guessing you haven't installed an operating system yet? Just tried first boot and nothing? Update us and let us know!

I should have added that I used both my graphics card and motherboard connecton and still get the black screen saying "no signal detected" thanks for your attempt anyway any help is appreciated

The first suspect is not an issue as I connected my monitor to a different computer and it worked fine but my personal one does not connect at all.

I do not understand your second suspect (sorry I am a noob) are you implying I built a new computer? I simply added new parts to my already built computer the monitor issue happened with my old mobo and CPU. I believed the CPU was the problem so I added the new parts for upgrading my specs thinking I could kill two birds with one stone (new CPU fixes problem and for gaming) but I was wrong.

So my friend came over who know a little bit about PC building and asked me to troubleshoot for issues with my specific new motherboard (Asus VII Hero) turns out all I needed to do was put the RAM closer to my CPU and it worked all of a sudden. I feel like such a moron now.
