Hello guys.

Untill yesterday my pc worked just fine. Today it's not turning on anymore.
When i push the power button nothing happens. there are no beeps nor light leds , it's just all dead like there is no power at all
At begin i thought it was the front panel disconnected (it had few problems lately) but then i tried to turn the pc on with the motherboard buttons and nothing happened. Then i thoguht it was the power supply, but after unmounting and testing it all the results were correct. I'm starting to believe the motherboard is gone and that is very bad, because apart unmounting everything and mounting it on another motherboard i can't think of other solutions... What do you think about this?
My pc is:
Cooler master 700W bronze+
Cooler master haf 932 advanced
ASUS P8P67 EVO
i7 2600k (no overclock) + arcting cooling 13
corsair vengeance 8GB 1866mhz
AMD Sapphire 6970 2GB
2x HD Seagate Barracuda 1TB
LG Flatron 22 full hd.
Windows 7 full updated.

Thank you very much for your attention

Do you have a power surge protection strip? If you do, make sure it is on and working fine.
Also, esp. if you don't have that, make sure there hasn't been a power surge or something that might have taken the PSU or even worse, the mobo, with it.

Pull the motherboard battery wait 10min disconnect everything but the display and key board. So unplug the hard drives FireWire front usb ports everything thats connected inside to the motherboardexcept for the essentials. Like the power button yank out the reset if plugged in. Switch bios if possible. Only plug the 24 pin power into the motherboard if it has the 8 pin connector on it then go ahead and plug that in. Now see if she will boot after you put the battery back in the motherboard.

Also it still maybe something to do with your front panel power pins on the motherboard if you have already been having some problems in that area. Sounds like your power supply is OK. I did once have a seemingly completely dead PC after changing some RAM, reseated the sticks and all was well. Are there any power LED's showing on the motherboard, if so try reseating all the components, or get a cheap motherboard diagnostic card to see if you are getting either power to the board or errors codes from it.

Good Luck

Today i tested the power supply on another pc at work and it worked fine.
Then i followed your advices about the motherboard at home but i couldn't solve my problem. I noticed that when i turn the power supply on, the I/O button of the motherboard turns green, but if i push it nothing happens even tho it stays green, then the reset button turns yellow for few secs and it goes off. No beeps, no error leds, everything is just dead. It seems the motherboard is simply broken, do you agree?
I've read that many Asus motherboards have 2+1 years warranty, do you know if my P8P67 is covered by the additional year?

Thanks all for your support :)
