It might feel like the end of the world when I turn on my computer and nothing happens. Fortunately, power problems do not always mean that the entire computer is damaged or that data has been lost. There are several reasons why desktop computers and laptops might not want to switch on. Sometimes the issue may only be with a peripheral, like an external monitor, which prevents the PC from turning on at all. Do not become alarmed if you hit the power button to start your PC and nothing happens. Before hitting the power or reset button once more, keep in mind to give the computer a moment to turn on entirely. Try some of the simple solutions listed below if you're still having problems.
