my PC won't boot windows 7

I've upgraded my mobo and cpu yesterday and when I try boot windows I got message saying errors are stopping windows from booting try system recovery to fix but I try it and it still doesn't work,

If I just click resume windows normally I get the blue screen of death for like a second then it goes back to the same screen? What do you think it is?? Help please

When you changed your motherboard and CPU, did you perform a clean install of Windows? If not, this is the reason you're getting errors. Windows is looking for the drivers and registry settings for your old hardware. Not finding the old hardware, it errors out.

no i didnt, do you think this is why? i just need to do a clean install of windows 7?
