I believe that this is a solid build. I am planning on buying in the next week or so
Silly question, because I am almost sure of the response.
Will there be any bottlenecks in this system?

Also, will the cooler master haf 912 provide enough cooling for my pny gtx 580? I am only worried about the heat.
I won't be playing around with liquid cooling. Should I buy any extra fans? I don't have a cpu cooler yet, only because I will not be overclocking. (for right now)
I really did not want to spend so much on the rig, but it seems like the best choice because it will last for a while.

Also, is the psu good enough for everything? I know that the watts don't seem like a lot, but the amps are really high. I believe it is good enough.
I do not plan to sli, instead ill just get a new graphics card when new ones come out..

So do you guys think I should change anything, or is this really a perfect build for the budget? (no sli, crossfire)

Looks very good.

1) A GTX580 needs a 600w psu with 42a on the 12v rails. The HCG has 48a so you are fine there.

2) For good gaming cooling, you want at least two 120mm intake fans. Add one to your haf 912, or get a case which includes them like the Antec Illusion model for a similar price:

3) You should add an aftermarket cooler. Your cpu will run cooler and quieter. Your OC will be easier and higher. It need not be expensive. The CM hyper 212 or Xigmatek gaia will be $30 or so. It is much easier to do during the initial build.

4) I like your smarter graphics upgrade plan.

Geo, would you recommend that case over the haf 912? Because everyone tells me to take the haf 912. I really can't buy a aftermarket cooler. I am also pissed off a bit, but I can't fit it into my budget :\ I already went over $100 over budget, and I won't go any higher. If I decide to buy one later, and if it means I have to take apart my whole system, so be it.

And two 120mm intake fans should be in the front yes? let me get this straight, the front takes in air, and the back lets it go? What do the top fan and the side fan do?
Should I buy 2 120mm fans for the front? Or one should go either on top or on the side? The haf 912 comes with one 120mm fan for the front and one 120mm for the rear. But the rear is obviously not an intake fan...

Cases are a personal thing. Get one that appeals to YOU, not what anyone else likes.
Some like windows and "bling". Others, like me like simplicity.

There are two requirements:
1) It must hold all of your parts. If you use a full ATX motherboard, you must use a full atx case
If you will forgo a sli upgrade, you can use a micro-atx motherboard, which is usually a bit cheaper. Here, for example is an ASROCK Z68 M-atx motherboard for $99:

It can go in either a full or m-atx case. The case needs to hold your normal complement of dvd drive/s, hard drives, etc.

2) Cooling must be adequate. That means airflow.

A positive pressure case will draw air in from the front, and expel it out the back or top. That is accomplished with two intake fans of 120mm, or one 180mm or 200mm intake fan. For output, all you need are vents equal in size to the intake area.

A negative ventilation will have two or more exhaust fans in the rear or top.

Some cases have side intake fans which I do not like much. I think they disrupt the natural front to back flow.

For what it is worth, I have a 2600K and a GTX580 in a m-atx silverstone TJ-08B-E case.

It has a single 180mm intake fan which cools everything wonderfully on low.
It is one of the easiest cases ever to work with.

Another simple low cost case is the Antec 200, $30 after rebate.

As long as there is room to add a fan, you are OK. It is not hard or expensive to add one later if cooling is not up to your needs.

I would try it out just the way it comes. The case designers should know something. If you think you want more cooling, add a 120mm fan to the front.
Without extra cost, you could also experiment with moving the rear fan to the front as an intake.

I would get top fan first, before side; just my opinion.
Remember, you can always change them around.
