My Psu makes a clicking sound and doesn’t turn on when i press the power button but it works fine with my old psu.

I have the recommended psu wattage and all the psu wattage calculators I’ve used say I need between 400 and 550w
You are assuming the GPU is operating ok. If it's not, it may be drawing too much current. The fact that you get the same symptom with two PSUs would indicate the problem is likely with the GPU and not the supply. Do you have another GPU you can use, or maybe you have integrated GPU that you can test with.

Did you use the modular cables that came with the new PSU?
Yes

Could it be my pcie port? My old psu was 550w and I don’t think my gpu would suddenly start pulling more or that my new psu isn’t enough
