Hey MitzMichael. That sounds a bit unfortunate. I'd suggest that you take the drive out and connect it to your computer either internally (via a SATA cable) or externally (via a SATA to USB cable). Then go ahead and download the manufacturer's diagnostic tool (or a 3rd party HDD diagnostic tool if the manufacturer doesn't offer one) and test the drive to see if it has any errors or bad sectors and what's the situation with it.

Please let me know what are the results of the tests.
