My PSU does not have enough cables for my GPU

Hello I have recently bought a 660 ti and the problem is that I only have one 6 pin to connect to my card and it requires 2x 6 pin which didn't work out. I have a 650w PSU (unsure) thought it was 500w. My question is if I buy this 6 inch PCI Express Power Splitter Cable which looks like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81ew9Z2NiwL._SL1500_.jpg will my power supply be fine? As it is taking double to power the splitter to the card. I am scared to use this splitter as I don't know if my power supply will supply enough power for a splitter into the card and that it might break. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

I was thinking about getting this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71RTWfffYuL._SL1500_.jpg rather than the splitter? Any thoughts?

THIS is my PSU that I took a picture of http://i.imgur.com/CfZGc9O.jpg . I don't know anything about voltage and watts. I thought at first that my PSU was a 500w but then when I looked it says that it is 650W. Can anyone tell me if this psu is good enough for a 660 ti that uses a 2x 6 pin splitter or a 4pin to 6pin converter? to power the card? And also which one of the two should I get? A 4pin to 6pin or a 2x 6 pin power splitter

THIS LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE MY PSU http://i.imgur.com/DnxG1GH.jpg but the only difference is that this one is 520W While my PSU is 650W.

Solution
i stand by what i said earlier, that's a doubtful psu... even if you get the system working with the splitter thingy it will not last.
what will happen is the following (not necessarily in this order)
- system instability / resets / crashes - especially when playing
- psu will overheat shortening its lifespan
- psu will fail (and if you're lucky it won't take any other components it is connected to with itself)

- the problem isn't that you're lacking the pci ex connectors, is that the psu lacks the ability to safely/stably power 2 pci ex connectors.

- the psu is not 650w, it says it is but the wattage on the 12v rails is in fact 432W. i've tried to find a review of it, but can't find anything.

- if you're willing to take changes...
you need a better psu ... the splitter may fucntion but the single pci ex connector is an indicator that the psu cannot provide the power the card needs. even if it doesn't go up in fumes the moment you start the days of the psu are numbered running that card.

get a decent antec/seasonic/xfx/evga 500W+ for the new card.

- if you're willing to take changes, yes, using an adapter from molex to pci ex or a splitter will get the 660 started (doesn't matter which way you chose to trick it into thinking it can get the power it needs).

edit: aaand i found the reviews i was expecting to see:

OP, that power supply is probably not good enough at all. Get an XFX 650W or Seasonic 620W power supply
