My Psu for 1060

Hello i'm currently using a silverstone st50f 500w and im planning to buy a 1060 soon just wanna ask if this psu is okay with it or should i buy another?

The GTX 1060 is a 120 watt video card so unless your using a very power hungry CPU it should be fine.

The GTX 1060 requires 120W and recommends 400W system power, i think you should be good but to be 100% sure you can use this tool from Coolermaster

My friend said its a tier 6 quality psu i'm just concerned is this bad? to the point that it might damage the gpu?

It is rather low quality replace it with a better brand if you can if not then use it.
