My psu just went

I went to turn my computer on and when i pressed the power button nothing happened to the pc. I then realised that all the electric to the sockets in my house was tripped. I am wondering if my PSU is just broken or if it or anything else in my pc is possibly broken.

Most likely just PSU. All XFX come with internal protection to save the parts.

Why would your PSU trip the power grid? Did you try turning it on again and turning your pc on? Does the PSU have a burnt smell?

I tried turning it on again and it made the power to the sockets go off again. I also tried switching out the fuse. and there is no burning smell. No sound came from the psu when i tried to turn it on.

Yes, the psu doesn't give out any power

Funny thing...yesterday when i got home my PC wasnt working, today i started messing with the USB HDD's cables and it suddenly it started working....

Weird. I got new stuff in the mail today. Put it all together and nothing happens when i press the power button. I have gone over each cable for the past 2 hours :/
