Question My PSU won't turn on in MSI B450M mobo, or perhaps the other way around.

Hello all.


I recently bought an old pc with a ASUS sabertooth 990fx EATX mobo and a SilverStone 1100W PSU(ST1100-TI). Because of an upgrade to a new CPU (Ryzen 5 2600) i bought a new mobo, a MSI B450M gaming plus.
Now it seems that the mobo wont activate the remote switch (or what it is called - remote on/off thing in the PSU), I can activate it wit a paperclip in the right 2 pins, and the PSU still works in the old mobo.

Could the problem be that the PSU isn't compatible with the mobo? it doesnt appear on the compabilitylist from MSI (https://storage-asset.msi.com/file/test_report/TR7_14985.pdf)

I upgraded to
MSI B450M
2x8GB Vengeance 3000MHZ RAM
GPU is a GTX 1070 ti (was on the old setup too)
2 x SSD
1x HDD
PSU Silverstone 1100W

I solved it. I turned out that the new CPU had to bend "legs", when I carefully straightened them out, it all worked fine.
