Im currently running an

AMD fx-6300
RX 6600 (ikr)
ASUS m5a97 r2.0
2 stick DDR3 16gb ram 1600

somehow it only reads 667 mhz in task manager. in the bios there are only these options available (DDR3 - 864MHz, 1151mhz, 1439mhz, 1728mhz, 2015mhz, 2303mhz, 2592Mhz) rn im currently using 1439mhz. is there any fix for this or am i just cursed with a low memory speed?

You double the speed to determine its rated speed. In your case, the system is running at 2x667= ~1333. That is default speed for DDR3.

Not all memory will run at rated speeds in all systems. What is the actual/full model of the memory you are trying to use?

Set your DRAM O.C. Profile to 1600. Leave all other memory settings in AUTO/Default.

If not sure, reset the motherboard to its default settings and then tweak as above.

not sure but its a corsair vengeance 1600Mhz ddr3

it just said OC tuner ok/cancel. i read the description on the frequencies mentioned abt and it said it forces the ram to run slower therefore it having odd numbers. other than that there isnt an option that makes my ram’s frequency at 1600
