My RAM module turned out to be a counterfeit

Hey i purchased a Transcend 1333mhz 8gb ram module from a local dealer about 2-3 months ago.Ididnt know it was fake and after 2 or 3 moths i came to know about a site called a transcend product verification where we should type our serial number in order to know whether our product is real or not and when i typed my serial no no results were found they told me to contact transcend but there was no proper reply from them
So i wanna conclude with these questions
1.how is actually a fake ram made ?
2.Does it do anything wrong to my pc or results in degradation of my pc performance ?
3.Because i have took so much time realising my ram is counterfeit i think that the local dealer doesnt take it back and give me my money.Because it too late.Will he take it back ???
4.Please help me guys on what should i do further ??
Actually does it perform as equally as a legit one or result in any problem to my pc???? i want to know this one first 🙁 🙁 🙁
i am pretty much concerned about my pc because i love it so much :*
and also in cpuz i doesnt show any information about manufacturer or anything 🙁

If the RAM performs as it should then I wouldn't worry about it.

You are able to perform simple RAM speed tests with websites such as http://userbenchmark.com or programs such as PassMark.
Both of the above will return a performance percentage that compares to all other users with the same memory. They will also check read/write speeds and perform various other tests.

The fact they're unable to trace your model via the serial doesn't add up to much except the fact that the people working in production for Transcend probably didn't record the serial number correctly at the time your specific module(s) were made.

I've not seen any fake memory myself however if there was such a thing I would think they would attempt to copy the high-end memory modules. They would simply take some cheap memory modules, fit the casing and/or heatsink from a high-end module and package it in the appropriate brand packaging and then attempt to pass it off as real.

As long as the RAM is performing as any other similar 1333MHz module would I wouldn't worry about it!

Hey thanks for the reply i have gone through the sites you have said and when i did the test in ram category it says that its "UKNOWN HYNIX ..."hynix is it good ?.And also it gives percentage of below 36percentage(below average) 🙁 🙁 🙁 .Also out of 12 gb only 8gb isusable (given in the benchmarks)

The memory appears to be running perfectly fine for 1333MHz, it is detecting all 12GB of your memory. It's just showing that you have 1x 8GB stick and 1x 4GB stick so there's nothing to panic about there.
Hynix is quite a well known brand of memory too so I wouldn't worry about that either.

Looking at the rest of your system everything appears to be running exactly as it should.

It would appear you have nothing to worry about!

Thank you so man.I appreciate your help.And one last question.Pls don't get angry at me 😛 .Why it is saying that i am only able to use 8.5gb when i have 12gb.Means it is saying like 8.6GB free of 12GB(At the right side of benchmarks.

That's because when you ran the benchmark, Windows and various programs were just using some of the memory and 8.6GB is what was not being used.
