The monitors both turn black and flash on and off moving the displays from one side to the other. I just recently got a new monitor and was wondering why this is happening?

Are both monitors the same?

you not alone with the refresh drop:
I'm using odyssey g5 curved monitor for a couple of months now and i started having a problem with my refresh rate,
in every single game when I'm alt tabbing or minimizing the game my screen changes its refresh rate to 120 from 144 and getting locked at 120 till I change it back manually from the monitor buttons.
Ill be more then happy to hear for some solutions, ty.
Answer appears to be:
The problem is that the monitor stays at 144 from its menu but windows is capped at 120

One answer is to set desktop to 144 as then it will match game and shouldn't swap back to 120.

Does this seem familiar? https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ndomly-anyone-else-experiencing-this.3629813/
seems to happen to people with 2 monitors and one of them is a G7

maybe this helps?
Set your color depth back to 8bc and the source searching issue should be gone.
