My problem is very weird. I have used an old computer with a Single-Core CPU and Radeon 9500 with this monitor. The resolution was 1280X1024 (Usual 5:4). I didn't have any problems. Then, I connected the same monitor to my other computer, which had a Celeron D 347 and Intel GMA Graphics (82852/82855 graphics), and the most I could get is 640X480. When I connected my PC to another monitor, I could get a normal resolution (800x600 and above). Also, when I connected the laptop to the monitor, It output 1280x800 with no problem. I have installed the usual drivers, checked my installation of Windows, reset CMOS, where I set the On-Board Buffer (or similar) to 8MB. I also tried changing the VGA Cable, reseting my computer. It looks like it's a problem between the PC and the monitor. The weird thing is, that my PC recognizes the monitor as a Generic PnP monitor, which makes me wonder: what is the problem?
