My rig is overheating. I don't know what else to do.

Hey guys, my current setup is giving me a headache. It's my first gaming pc and as the title states, it's been overheating. I bought the rig off of a guy and he said that he's never had problems with it overheating. In the first week or so, it actually shut off a few times because it was so hot. I bought it as kind of a starter pack. I'm planning on upgrading piece by piece to something a lot more powerful but I still need it to function well as is.
NZXT Lexa s Case
AMD 8150 liquid cooled(doesn't seem to work that well)
XFX AMD R9 290
Gigabyte 970a mobo
2x4 corsair vengeance ddr3
128gb ssd
1tb hdd
750w corsair psu
LG bluray/dvd
I have 1 intake fan, two exhaust fans on top, a case fan on the side, and exhaust for the water cooler coming out the back. Then the dual fans on my gpu as well.
The intake fan I have is a cooler master jet Flo 95cfm fan that I bought and relocated the stock fan to the top of the case for exhaust. With all my fans on high if I jump into overwatch, my I will have in the neighborhood of 4 Temps running too hot. If you guys have any advice, I'll take it. Even with the side of the case off it still runs hot. If you would like pictures of the inside of the case, I can include those. Thanks.

Pictures of some temps before and during a light gaming session.

Also, a picture of the inside of my case. Yeah, I know it's messy right now.

Sure thing. I added a couple of pictures for temp references. I will also add a couple of shots of the case layout.

63 DEGREES for a 290 after gaming is like awesome temps for that GPU. It was known to run hot, so nothing wrong there. Even the CPU temps aren't that bad. Just because it has a little fireball next to it, doesn't mean anything. Those temps are approaching the limits mind you, but not overly bad. The 8150 ran hot as well, being one of the first FX chips.

I notice the fan RPM aren't going up at all, that seems weird.

It can get warmer when I'm playing. It gets 70+ while i'm playing overwatch. They just seem high to considering how much air is going through this thing. I'm definitely not an expert though so i will for sure concede to your judgement. Do you think my cpu is cooling correctly? I'm clueless for the most part when it comes to watercooling.

As far as fan rpms go, I have everything maxed out right now.

I honestly have no clue. This is my first experience with water cooling. I don't know much about the cooler.

I just played an hour of overwatch and my GPU is water cooled and it was 77C, so your GPU is fine. Your CPU, I would say maybe thermal paste is going and needs to be replaced. Can you download openhardwaremonitor and post a screen of it's temps, I'm more familiar with them and a AMD cpu. Temp2, temp3, etc from speedfan tell me nothing.

This was some data captured while i played a little today. Temps seem to be doing a little better when I limited my fps to display-based. Still got pretty warm though. Hope this helps. Ohhh and it also shut down on me again yesterday while playing. I hadn't limited my fps at that point though. Thanks.
