Hello everyone, at first, i'm sorry for my possibly bad english, it's not my first language.

So, here's my problem
I bought a RTX 3080 back in 2020 (model is MSI GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS 10G OC (LHR)
Everything was working perfectly fine, never pushed it to max perfs, always has been limited to 80% via Afterburner
I never used it for mining, or any style of overcloking, never been pushed to its full perfs excepts for benchmarks (3DMark, OCCT etc...)

But 1 year ago, I was playing Black Desert Online (max graphics in 1080p etc, game working fine)
I went afk with the game running for like 30 mins
When i came back my pc was on desktop screen, steam not started yet
Started the game back thinking it just was some power outage that happened when i was out of the house

No problems for like 1 year

Yesterday, my pc turned off when i started Helldivers 2
No problems on main menu, but when I started to play, it instantly turned off my pc
> Worried
Unplugs my pc and check everything
> Everything is fine
I start back the pc, anything working as always
Start Terraria > Nothing happen
Start a random game on steam (3D game) > pc instantly turn off
Restarting the pc and going for a benchmark / errors finding via OCCT, everything is fine, no errors
OCCT starts checking graphic card > pc instantly turn off
> Reinstalled graphic card drivers > nothing changed

Whenever something is using 3D cores, the pc turn off instantly, no logs, no BSOD, nothing, just the pc turning off like it had a power outage
I can only use my pc for anything that doesnt use 3D, everything except 3D things, no 3D games, no 3D modeling software, nothing, only 2D basic things

I'll call for my local computer scientist tomorrow and bring him my graphic card so he can check
What could it be ? i'm scared to get my Cuda cores dead + I don't understand how it could die with the used I had of it (pc has an excellent airflow, never had any sort of overheating, everuthing watercooled except graphic card)

Update, here's my full specs:

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

There's really just two things I'd suggest doing up front. Make sure the video card is securely in the PCIe slot and disconnect the power cables at video card and PSU end and then reconnect them.

There is a possibility of thermal paste/pad issue, but I wouldn't expect that to be an immediate power down.

I already tried using the second PCIe slot but I had the same problem, the graphic card is never overheating, always at max 65-70°C even when used
