I have noticed a slight slowdown in use of my computer. Not sure if related. browsers seem to take longer to open, and may take 3 or 4 clicks before 3 copies suddenly open.

with the Samsung magician, I was only getting 330 read speed and similar in write. I set the OS optimization for reliably, then enabled RAPID. Shot up to 440 across. would still like to hit 500 as it should be.

My OS is windows 7, and it is installed on the SSD. any thoughts?
When i got the SSD, I just plugged it in and went from there. didnt download any tools or software or drivers.

EDIT: Just did it again. Some reason now it is giving me 4500 for read speed. how is that possible?

Solution
You make it sound like Intel CPU and Intel chipset are two separate requirements, let's not confuse OP. :)

If you have an Intel CPU, then you have to have an Intel chipset. Intel CPUs do not fit AMD boards.

What is an intel PC? my CPU is an i5, but other than that nothing is intel.

I mean if you have an Intel CPU (and Chipset).
As weberdarren97 said, you have an Intel PC.

Take a look at it, perhaps it can be the root cause of your issue.
