[SOLVED] My screen will not display from a graphics card hdmi port.

When I was fiddling around with ethernet earlier today, I decided I didn't want to install and use it. So afterwards I unplugged the ethernet cord and went on with my day. I use a PCI express wifi card for my internet. I forgot to plug it in after I used ethernet. So when I went to install it (my computer was on) my screen flickered and then it went dark and it said I had no signal. Neither HDMI nor Display port work on any ports of my GPU. I tried rearranging my graphics card in my second PCI slot and it still doesn't work. Neither does my PCI express wifi card work either. Did I short circuit my motherboard or GPU or both?

So you installed your PCIE wifi card while your PC was on? If your CPU has integrated graphics try that out first of all.

yes, I'm on integrated graphics atm and it's very crappy but getting me by. What now?

So if your integrated works but your card doesn't? try a different card if you have any around to test if it's working. Also you don't add anything to the slots while the PC is running, that's really not good

I realize that lol, and I don't have another GPU to use to test the PCI slots.
