Question My Seagate hard disk does not show up in my computer?

hello guys, I have a seagate Buck up plus HDD. But it does not show up in " my pc". it shows up in my device manger as "Seagate BUP BK SCSI Disk Device"
please help.

i used a different one but it still does not work.
i can sense the movement of the hard disk for some seconds and then the hard stop moving, but the power led is on.

Did you assign a drive letter in Disk management ?

Hold the Windows key and hit X, go into Disk Management, if you can see the drive there right click and assign a drive letter.

the disk is not visible in the disk management. it is visible in the device manger.

Any missing drivers for other devices ?

Try another USB port or updating USB drivers...

i tried another USB port and tried another PC as well. the driver manger says that the device works properly.

i found that the driver manger after a minute changes the disk to "unknown USB device (set Address failed ) "
and the error code
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

The USB set address request failed."
