Just picked up an old Dell PowerEdge 1950, plugged it in to get it up and running and the info screen says there is a "E1000 failsafe error E1216 3.3V powergnd cmtjr server call support"

Not sure what this means, looking for guidance, also which VGA port should the monitor be plugged into? (there's 2 ports, one in front and one in back)

only 1 power supply, 2 75GB hard drives are in it

Solution
First, power down the server, pull the power cord and hold the power button in to clear the power off the board. Wait about 30 seconds, then put the power back on and power up. If the error doesn't clear, the motherboard will need to be replaced. The error refers to the 3.3v regulator on the board and not in the power supply.

Either VGA port will work.
