My Speakers Wont Play Through My Computer's Audio

I have a pair of Logitech speakers and a subwoofer (all connected properly) and when I try to plug them into my 3.5mm headphone jack on the front of my computer. I have tried troubleshooting a little bit. I have windows 8.1
Does anyone know how to help me?

Is there no sound at all from the front? Do they work in the back? If they only work in the back, you may not have connected the front audio connector to the motherboard.

Should be a green circle on the motherboard, below or above the usbs.

Do you have a driver disk that came with your motherboard? Try installing the sound drivers from that.

I got a CD with my motherboard but I don't think it had any drivers on it. I downloaded them off the internet and it still doesn't work. I have the ASrock Z97 Extreme 4
