The reason why you can see both the SSD drive and the HDD drive in the bios, but not when you load windows is this.
Windows sets a drive letter allocation for each drive connected to your computer.
The reason why the hard drive is not showing is because it has been allocated the same drive letter assignment as your SSD drive if it was previously used as a boot drive with the windows os installed on it.
Or it is a new drive and it has not been formatted yet so windows can see it and work with it.
If you know the drive has been formatted but does not show in windows follow the solution to change it`s drive letter assignment in windows bellow.
To get the drive to show in windows.
Click on start.
In the search box type: Disk man
Select format and create partitions.
When the window opens you will see a list of drives connected to your system.
Look at the list and you will see your hard drive, and it`s current capacity.
On the left most side right click.
Select change drive letter and select a drive letter from the list.
Click ok or apply.
The second window will tell you the status of the drive in order for it to work in windows it must be online.
If you have not formatted the drive and it is new right click and format it as a basic disk.
Once you are done restart your system and when you click on my computer your drive will be listed and you can access it.
