My Steam Account has been hacked!

My Steam account was hacked last monday, my contact email was changed, and don't know who the hacker is. His username is
"kLIZZ =D" I have contacted Steam, and they haven't done anything yet? What do I do!? Almost £100 pounds of games on there!

Nothing else you can really do, except contact Steam support ASAP. Don't worry about your inventories, like in TF2 or something, as they usually give everything that the hacker has stolen back. Oh, and

I may not be PC but I'm certainly not rude enough to call somebody names on a public forum. And while my methods are not PC, they are effective. Now he knows to turn on Steam Guard and practice safe internet.

- Even mine got hacked yesterday..!! Today morning i tried to login and said i need to verify my password. and then found that my mail id was changed!! 🙁 and then checked my inventory and found most of my valueable items were lost 🙁
more than 300$ worth!
Yesterday eve i got a request from someone asking to add his friend so that i can trade with him. one who asked me to add was with steam ID - 'http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198084066056'

I was just hacked today... came home from work to play Skyrim and found my password to be changed and my email along with my in game name...he changed it to KingDiamond. WHat the hell is going on??

I raised ticket to steam support with all relevant details and they helped me..!! it took like 2 weeks..!! they reset the account to my default email id (in 2 days) and after 1 week they managed to restore all the items i lost!!

PS: to keep in mine when i raised ticket i provided lots of valid information regarding the theft and my account details!!! Steam also said that they are storing my items since first time my account is getting hacked!!

We have reversed the trades committed by the hijacker on your account as a one-time customer service gesture. We will not restore items that are hijacked a second time. Please follow the link below and take the prescribed steps to ensure the security of the account in the future."

While this is a nice gesture, it would make me feel much better if they said that they were looking for ways to make Steam more secure. Since this has happened to a number of people, they need to take accountability if there is a legitimate security hole. I kind of doubt these accounts were hacked by brute force (if they were, maybe they should auto-lock after 3 unsuccessful attempts).

Actually, Steam do have! If we enable Steam Guard . They recommended the same for me as well.

Hi,
I want to inform that my Steam Account is hacked and all my Dota 2 Rare and Mythical items are stolen.I have complained to Steam many times but I Didn't get a positive response.One thing more I have enabled my Steam Guard .

When I go to my inventry... and check the View Inventry History .. It shows that I have traded all good items with Ni'Va SeGa at 10:59 pm and he give me nothing.

Thanks I hope Steam would consider our complains and also help tell us the solution of this problem.
