Question My steering wheel is not working in forza horizon 3

So I bought a new steering wheel and Forza horizon 3 won't even recognize it. Like there's nothing plugged in a pc. I tried forzaemuwheel or whatever that app is called, but it just maps your wheel like a gamepad. slight turn of your wheel is interpreted as a full blown left/right turn.

what should I do?

test it with other driving games at least. but do list the make and model

it's a cheap wheel - defender gtr - it does work with NFS and ETS 2 pretty good.

That is really strange if it works with other games that should certainly work with Forza

downloaded from windows store. I think Forza really supports certain steering wheels and nothing else :/

this may be true. i just use my trusty controller... wish I had a wheel and pedal setup
