Yes, you need a new GPU if you want to do more gaming. If you plan to play more demanding triple A titles, I also recommend upgrading to 8GB of RAM. However your i3-4150 is a very decent CPU, so you don't need to worry about that.

What is your budget, and what power supply do you have (if you don't know the model of it, check inside the computer case and see if it has a label with either a model name or how many amps it supplies on each rail or total wattage)?

Some good, affordable GPUs that don't require much power are:

GeForce GT 740 1GB GDDR5 (do not get the 2GB DDR3 version)
GeForce GTX 750 1GB or 2GB GDDR5

The GTX 750 is significantly faster than the GT 740, but it might be out of your price range. I'd strongly recommend saving...

The GTX 750 is significantly faster than the GT 740, but it might be out of your price range. I'd strongly recommend saving until you can get the GTX 750 though... anything less than that isn't exactly stellar for the money, but the GTX 750 is very very good for the price.
