You probably just disabled the trackpad. Read your manual on how to change trackpad settings (usually fn button and then one of the F keys between 5 and 8)

Thanks basroil but i don't have the manual anymore. I checked my friend's Toshiba Manual with a different model and your suggestion can't be found. I was able to use the arrows on my keypad to try to use the recovery function but something is blocking it. I guess the problem is more serious than just the cursor not moving. Need help.
You have an internet connection and your computer's model, that's enough to find and download the manual from the toshiba website.

My Toshiba R835 has it, so don't rule it out until you read YOUR manual.

1) Do NOT use the recovery menu until you are ready to lose everything
2) The keys only do so much, the real way to navigate is to use the tab key.
3) recovery likely won't help anyway, especially if it's just user error
