[SOLVED] my touchpad clicks stops suddenly but the touchpad works properly

my laptop is HP Zbook Studio G3
while i was working on it the laptop clicks sops but the touch pad working properly , I tried to use it on Bios setting and clicks didn't work too
i restore the default settings for bios and nothing changed

i tried to open the laptop back cover to ensure the touchpad cable is connected and it is ok
I don't think it is a hardware problem cuz the touchpad works

You mean you can move the cursor but the clicking does not work at all? If it does not work in the BIOS good chance it's a physical issue with the touchpad that it can't sense the tapping.
