I have a SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 128 GB stick. I have been using it for months now on all our tv's with no problem, just plug it in, select the file and movie plays. Last night I formatted it to only put my favorite movies on it and now the TV's can no longer read the files on it. It shows 1 file, but it is not a file that can be opened. After reading through other threads, here are a few more details.

1 - It is in FAT32 format which is what it was before when it was working
2 - They are the exact same files they were before and they still work just fine off of my large external drive.
3 - No file is over 1 gig
4 - I copied them the same way I did last time
5- Factory resetting the TV did nothing

Any ideas short of just going out and buying a new stick?

Hi Teri, welcome to the community! :)

Try reformatting it again with the NTFS files system, to see if the TV will be able to recognize it. Other than that you could still try it with the other TVs, to see if it's recognized. You should also try one of the other USB ports (if you have more than 1) on the TV you're having issues with.

Did you use your computer to reformat the flash drive, or one of the TVs?

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
