can i use a webcam with these? i seen pictures for these settings i the "imput menu" on my tv screen. do you need to know that part?

Solution
No, these are not suitable for a webcam.

av1 and av2 are just two sets of "audio / video" inputs. I am sue they each are yellow, red and white. Yellow is for what's called a Composite Video input, an analog signal that contains all required parts of the video information on one line. Red is the Right side of stereo audio, White is Left.

Component1 and 2 are two sets of a different signal system. The three jacks for these are all different parts of the video signal, but they all are analog signals also. Green is for the Y signal, Red for Pr, Blue for Pb. Together these three signals can provide a higher-quality video feed than a Composite Video signal system. A Component Video system carries only video information, so when using that...

A Component Video system carries only video information, so when using that you also need to connect the stereo audio signal via the Red and White lines to the av1 or av2 jacks.

Of course, these all are input jacks, and they can only be used if you have a source (such as a DVD player) with matching outputs.

Any webcam is intended for use as a digital device only and to be connected to a computer so that software running on the computer can use its signals. A TV like yours cannot accept digital inputs on these jacks, and has no software or processor to handle digital signals, anyway.

Most consumer video cameras, however, have a way to output Composite Video and Stereo Audio analog signals, so you could connect such a camera to your av1 or av2 ports.
