I would like to purchase a pre-built computer, but if I'm unable to to find one during Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I'm hoping to buy parts and have someone build one for me. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

Why have someone build it for you? It is really simple to do yourself if you have 5 free hours. You will enjoy it much more if you do. I don't know about that cooler, I would ge a Coolermaster 212 evo. You don't need a 750W psu for 1 card. Look for a 620W Seasonic. With the extra money from the psu get a 7870 or 660ti. You will enjoy gaming more if you have good sound, look for a 2.1 speaker setup. I have Logitech z313 and they are nice for $39.99. That keyboard is a little expensive, look for a microsoft x4 sidewinder.

Thanks for the quick reply! I know someone who has a lot of experience building computers, so I was thinking of asking him for help. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try on my own. I'll take a look at that Seasonic PSU, I've actually had someone recommend it to me. For the keyboard, I was looking for anything to match my case and mouse, both would have the blue lighting.

Why not have him walk you through it if you don't feel comfortable? Trust me, you will appreciate the computer more if you put it together yourself. Peripherals are really a matter of opinion. If you like the Lycosa a lot then don't let me stop you from getting it.

Yea, I think I'll do that. Thanks again for your input. :)

5 hours? I can build a system in less than two, and I did so on Monday. I definitely agree that you should build it yourself.

Also the operating system - no need to pay for the full version of Windows 7. You can get the OEM version of Windows 8 which includes a license for system builders for $99, you can use the difference to get a better video card.

What exactly is the OEM version? And thanks for the info, that would definitely lower the total cost by a lot!

Also, would this be a good replacement for the PSU? Looks like it's on sale and has decent reviews:

OEM means that it's supposed to be for system builders only. The Windows 7 system license means that someone has to sell you your PC in order for it to be legal, or you sell your computer to someone else. The Windows 8 system license does away with that provision.

That power supply is an excellent choice, but don't go by what the store reviews tell you. They're baseless most of the time. Here's what a real review looks like: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=169

Oh okay, awesome. Thanks again!

Oh and one more thing, is it worth it to spend the extra money to upgrade the video card to the GeForce GTX 660 Ti?

Personally, I won't be doing any hardcore gaming, but would like to play games such as Guild Wars 2, Assassin's Creed III, Battlefield 3, and etc. without having to worry about performance. I was actually planning on getting something worse, but decided to stick with the GeForce GTX 660.

Other than that, what are your thoughts on the CPU Cooler and Motherboard? I think everything else is all good to go. Just wanting to make sure everything is compatible and whatnot.

I would suggest the 7870 for a graphics card

cheaper and works amazing, and if you overclock your computer it will be out the 660ti for the occasions you do game
