ok so i sent in my step-up card today, and replaced it with:
cirrus logic 5446, intergrated ramdac
it has a wopping 1MB of ram!!!!

bad news, my card is so NEW its not supported. but i ran it at PCpitstop.com and got.

Performance 12.26 MP/s (No similar CPU/MHz/video)
