my vostro 1400 play movie upside down when i plug my dard disk in

iuni plug my hhard disk into the usb and when it plays it shows it upside down. What do I do to turn the movie right side up

I doubt that has anything to do with the HDD. If this happens with every video file, it's most likely because of a setting of the media player you're using. Check the options of the player and try to find a vertical flip option. You could also try a different player to see if the same thing happens and give it a go with different video files.
