My Windows 8 Laptop used to connect to the Internet

My Windows 8 Laptop used to connect to the Internet, then all of a sudden yesterday it won't. It indicates that it is connected but will not all any of the three browsers to utilize the internet. I have tried both wireless and hard-lined...neither work. Please help. I am about to totally re-install Windows on it but would like to avoid doing so if possible.

I have. Our big PC works, cell phones connect, TV connects, Kindle connects, etc. It's just the Windows 8 Laptop.
