my windows look stupid, can someone help me?

I seemed to have suddenly and inadvertently changed the way Windows Explorer looks. Restore Default option found in folder options does not have any impact on the window i wish to change back to normal. Select a file to preview is half the size of the windows explorer and it looks dumb, not to mention each file or folder that is selected or highlighted will show it's contents in that section. and that's pretty dumb. i have no clue what key i pressed to make this happen while i was typing something.

Windows file explorer > View menu > On Panes; unselect Preview pane > On Layout; Select Icon size

The file preview can be adjusted to the size of your preference or disabled unselecting Preview pane

I don't have those options or at least i dont see them written that way. Preview Pane is there is some forum but i could not expand to an option to revert this file explorer back to normal.

After an hour or so of expanding every option available i thought toward re-install,but saner heads did prevail. The restore point. Roll back a graphics driver, mind a few other applications and the OS and it's windows look normal. It shold have been easier to find such an option to change what i did in one keystroke...
