My Xbox wired controller is behaving strange o.O

Hello, everyone.
I have a strange problem with my Xbox 360 wired controller on my PC. everytime I connect the USB connector into port on my PC, it keeps connecting and disconnecting until it is in some special position. I took a look and I see that that white thing in it (actually, on my controller its black, but this picture is for demonstration) is moving slightly.http://
Thank you for any opinions and advices that are coming in.

It is most likely because the wire inside is broken in some way so you can either try to fix it or buy a new one
