Mysterious BSOD creep

Hello,

I built my system about four years ago and put a new mobo, CPU, and GPU into it earlier this summer.

The principal components:

Gigabyte B85M-D3H mobo
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Geforce GTX 970

The upgrades went reasonably smoothly and for a while everything worked fine. Since I started playing XCOM about a month ago, though, I've been running into seemingly random crashes. Things have gotten worse and worse--now I can't even load into Witcher 3 without crashing.

Googling the error messages that come up after each crash suggests it might a driver problem, but I've tried older driver versions (350.12 to be precise) and the problem persists just as it does on the most recent drivers (353.30).

I'm not sure how to post my .sysdata or .dmp files from the crashes without throwing up a huge wall of text, but here is the Windows error that shows up after a crash:

Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 116 BCP1: FFFFFA8012D5B010 BCP2: FFFFF8800622AA08 BCP3: FFFFFFFFC000009A BCP4: 0000000000000004 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1

I basically know just enough to get myself in trouble here--i.e. I can build my own system but not really troubleshoot it with total efficacy. Any advice from more savvy users would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the response! As I mentioned, I've tried fiddling with the drivers a bit with no luck. Are there other diagnostics I can run before dusting off my video card warranty?
