Latest Win10 version, wired desktop.
My desktop runs a batchfile every night that connects an L2TP Vpn (using MS built-in) to the office, transfers some files, then disconnects the VPN (using RASDIAL).
Occasionally, my internet connection is bad the following morning. I can log into my router from the desktop and ping and trace to the world, but the desktop can't reach beyond the subnet. Here are the things I've tried:
I've been re-booting to fix it, but I just discovered that simply logging off/on fixes it.
Any suggestions?

Occasionally, my internet connection is bad the following morning. I can log into my router from the desktop and ping and trace to the world, but the desktop can't reach beyond the subnet. Here are the things I've tried:
- disable/re-enable the adapter
- delete the VPN adapter
- Compare the routing table between the failed state and working state. They are identical except the Interface List includes the VPN adapter and the IVP6 table has one extra entry.
I've been re-booting to fix it, but I just discovered that simply logging off/on fixes it.
Any suggestions?
