Since I'm putting this on my roof and don't want have "loss" by running a long ethernet wire to and from them. How could I set up a system to bypass this problem?

How long are your ethernet runs going to have to be? Tell us a little more about the buildings and where you want to terminate the connections in relation to the roof.
