Also, if the device has a 1 Gbit/s port, that doesn't necessarily mean it actually uses all that speed. In fact, this device is horribly slow. Be it reading or writing, I have never seen it yielding more than 3,5 MB/s. That's, you know, 32 Mbit/s, tops.
