Hiya NAS folks,

the 2 above NASs are practically the same as connectivity and looks go but the 212+ sports a better processor (2ghz against the 212's 1.6 Ghz) and more memory (512MB against 256MB).

This is reflected in the price (around GBP 60 / USD 100) more - is the premium worth paying for the performance increase? Or will it not make much of a difference when it comes to streaming media to different terminals?

Keep in mind this will be used in a home environment (I was going for the 212J but the white case just throws me off...)

Personally I don't see any point in paying the extra, unless you plan on having multiple users accessing and transferring lots of files at the same time.

I'm still running off a 6 year old NAS at home and totally happy
