I'm not sure how to do that. In Device Manager there's an option to "uninstall device," but I assume that will leave me with no internet at all which isn't what I want.Try to uninstall the driver from Control Panel.
I thought that's the screen I was on earlier, that I shared a screenshot of, and they'd just redesigned it.Control Panel, Program and Features.
If you have the knowledge to setup Truescale NAS, you should know how to go to the control panel.
Take a screenshot of the full Ethernet & Internet > Ethernet screen and post the screenshot here via imgur (www.imgur.com). If your network name is shown, feel free to redact a few characters leaving enough characters to easily reference if necessary.
Yes.Can you find the NAS devices IP addresses and MACs in any of the desktop's arp-a results?
I have no idea where to even look, but how does this matter? On the NAS devices: How is the network name configured?
Show the laptop's results.
For what? What TrueNAS documentation are you using or referencing?
This thread has gone so long, I have lost some memory ... Have you booted a portable Linux and tested ? That is the only definite way to eliminated a Windows issue.Rebooting the PC resolves the issue temporarily, so I doubt it's a config issue. Rebooting every couple of hours isn't a viable solution, though.
