Nascar Drop Targets

What is up with the hippy-looking drop targets? I think it is a really
good game and I played it for the first time yesterday. I just
couldn't figure out if the hippy look was some inside Nascar thing or
if there were just already too many cars or racing flags on the
playfield. Any insight?

I like them!
They're a nice twist.

I am glad it's not just some generic symbol like a car or checkered
flag.
