Ok guys I need some opinions here. I've got an Ncase on the way and about 2 weeks to finalize my build. First, here is my list at the moment.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BP8zgL

CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 1700X 3.4GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H75 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (Purchased)
Other: Biostar Racing X370GTN Mini ITX Motherboard ($129.99)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($231.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($174.43 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Founders Edition Video Card ($379.89 @ Amazon)
Case: Ncase M1 (Purchased)
Power Supply: Corsair SF 600W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply (Purchased)
Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition (2-Pack) 39.9 CFM 120mm Fans ($25.88 @ OutletPC)

So, I've highlighted some components that I have questions about, but I'm open to all comments and questions. I'll be using this PC for 3D modeling, 3D rendering, and some gaming and video editing.

Most important question first:
Video Card: I'd like to use a blower card with my Ncase. I'm trying to decide between the GTX 1070 Founders Edition and the MSI GTX 1070 AERO OC. The MSI card has a small overclock on it, but i'm more interested in potential better cooling. I have not been able to find reviews on this card, so I'm looking for some opinions. Also, what are the chances that we'll see an update the the GTX 1070 in the near future as it is going on 1 year old and we have Computex coming up.

Motherboard: It looks like the only available AM4 Mini ITX board will be from Biostar for at least a couple of months. Toms Hardware article HERE. I know both of their offerings are basically the same besides the chipset. Is there any advantage with stability on overclocks with the X370 chipset over the B350, or should I save $20 and go with the B350?

RAM: I have 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2666 picked out. My other option would the DDR4-3000 version for about $20 more. I'd like to get the faster memory, however, will I be able to take advantage of this with Ryzen? From what I understand, Ryzen does not support 3000MHz so I would have to run the RAM at 2933MHz, would this even be worth my while or should I settle for the 2666MHz RAM.

Thanks for taking the time to read this! I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my build list and I'd appreciate any input.

THANKS!

I'm not a particular fan of blowerstyle cooling... if their temps are worse in standard ATX scenarios, what are the chances they will perform well in Small form factor scenario...... IMO, Founders edition style cards are rare and sub-vendors only launch a limited quantity, and they do look aesthetically pleasing than the other aftermarket cards.
Hey, your build looks good and since I stumbled upon this post and here are my thoughts...

VideoCard:
Why not get this: EVGA GTX 1070 SC
Solves all problems...and 5 bucks cheaper and higher clockspeeds... If this is not what you want then go with the founders edition based on its scarcity...

I also have a ZOTAC 1070 mini on hand, 40 bucks cheaper than founders edition and it performs like a standard GTX 1070 card, love it also comes with 2 fans, wonderful temperatures, 65c at MAX LOAD ZOTAC GTX 1070 MINI

Motherboard: I'm not an overclocking enthusiast so I can't tell you much about overclocking stability... however the more important question would be whether you will change case in the future and looking at the possibility to SLI the GTX 1070s in the future when prices come down, if not then go for the B350, if yes then stick with the X370, however if you are planning to get the RX VEGA in the future and crossfire then you probably want to look at the B350 and I see no reason in upgrading to X370 since both chipsets support crossfire. For single card config, stick with B350... unless you love the aesthetics of the X370.

RAM: Perceived benefits between 2666 and 3000 would be unnoticeable unless you are a benchmark geek and crave for that extra benchmark score on a constant basis. Go with 2666 Mhz, I had a pair of 16GB 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinums, ran into infinite boot loops, swapped to 2666 Mhz and the boot loop was gone. I would stress however to stick with AMD compatibility of the Ryzen Ram sticks as there is no point in extreme performance when it is unstable. (P.S: I used a Gigabyte Aorus X370 Gaming 5 Motherboard)

Hope this helps and happy building

Thanks for the response! The only thing going against the EVGA GTX 1070 SC for me is that I'm looking for a blower style card to keep the head down inside that tiny case. What exactly do you mean by the founders edition scarcity?
